Type species: Agalliastes punctatus Fieber, 1861 (monotypic).
Diagnosis. Generally recognized by small, oval, pale or green body; weakly concave head, sub hyaline to hyaline hemelytron; ventral longitudinal keel on male pygophore, and single apical process of endosoma furnished with a series of notches subtending secondary gonopore. For detailed descriptions see Schuh (1984 as Ellenia ).
Distribution. Japan, Korea (South), Morocco, Nepal.
Discussion. This study confirms three species exist in Korea, among which two are new to science and were collected together from inflorescences of Kalopanax septemlobus (Thunb. ex Murray) (Araliaceae) .
