Distribution. Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Venezuela.

Remarks. One of the most widespread Liturgusa species, it is very common in Panguana, representing the small liturgusid ecotype.
