Amblypsilopus basalis Yang, 1997: 132 . Type locality: China: Guangxi, Longsheng.
Diagnosis. Five dc; 4 very short, paired acr before 1 dc. Antenna dark brown with dark yellow scape. Fore femur with two rows of weak ventral setae at base. Mid tarsomeres 2–4 flattened ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 – 13 ). Male cercus long finger-like with thick basal process ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8 – 10 ).
Specimens examined. Vietnam: 1 3, Vinh Phuc, Tamdao (21°18'N, 105°35'E), 2011. VI.22, G.Q. Wang.
Distribution. Oriental: Vietnam (Vinh Phuc), China.
Remarks. This species is newly recorded from Vietnam. For description and illustration of this species, see Yang et al. (2011).
