Paratype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-348: ♂ “ Geogarypus (A.) plumatus n. sp. ♂, Paratypus, det. V. Mahnert 1981”, “ Kenya, Shimba Hills , Makadara Forest, 400m tamisage [sieving]; [leg.] Mahnert-Perret [V. Mahnert & J.- L. Perret], 30.X.1974 ” .
Current status. Valid, as Afrogarypus plumatus ( Mahnert, 1982) ( Harvey 1986) .
Remark. The holotype was deposited in NHMG and additional paratypes were deposited in NHMG and the Museum of Evolution of Uppsala University (‘Inst. Zool. Uppsala’).
