Holotype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-422: ♂ “ Myrmecowithius paradoxus n. sp. ♂, Holotypus, det. V. Mahnert 1979”, “Jemen [ Yemen], Wadi Zarid [Zabid], 1970.X, leg: A. Sz. Marzsó ”.
Current status. Valid, as Nannowithius paradoxus ( Mahnert, 1980b) ( Mahnert 1988) .
Remark. One female paratype was deposited in NHMG.
