1. Prosternum bare; facial ridge with strong setae on lower 1/2 or more; occiput without black setulae behind postocular row; male outer vertical seta developed; male claws and pulvilli shorter than 5th tarsomeres................... lateralis Macquart View in CoL

2. Scutellum broadly black, sometimes apical portion narrowly dark brown; male thoracic dorsum broadly black in ground color, with thin grayish or yellowish-white pruinosity on postpronotal lobe and anterior portion of presutural area of scutum, dorsal longitudinal vittae only distinct on anterior portion of presutural area; vertex at most 0.24 of head width in male.......... 3
