Distribution. Ocypus nigroaeneus is at present known from Gansu, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan and Shaanxi Province; it is also known from eastern Siberia, Russian Far East, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea and Japan.
