Material examined. Paratype: CHINA: Sichuan Province: 1 male, “China, Sichuan c./ Luding Co., Moxi/ 22.5- 10.6.1993 / Dr.Vlad.Beneš lgt.// PARATYPE/ Ocypus / calamis / PARATYPE/ Ocypus / calamis / A. Smetana 2006 [yellow rectangular card]// Coll.Dvorak” (MDC).
Measurements. Body length: 19.1 mm. CL: 0.62; EL: 2.38; ELS: 1.15; EW: 2.75; HL: 2.25; HW: 2.96; PO: 1.55; PL: 2.72; PW: 2.55.
Distribution. Ocypus calamis is at present known from Hailuogou in Gongga Shan range in northwestern Sichuan Province.
