Material examined. Northern Territory. 1 male (DC315), Lightening Dreaming , 16–17 Jun 2015, P. Dostine ( MVM) ; 2 males, 1 female, Gunlom Falls , 31 Jul 2018, P. Dostine ; 12 males, 3 females, Gunlom Falls , pool, 30 Jul 2018, P. Dostine ; 4 males, 3 females, Kubara Ck , 4 Sep 2019, P. Dostine ; 1 male, Leichhardt Springs , 19 May 2015, P. Dostine ; 1 male, Bamboo Ck , 17–18 Sep 2020, P. Dostine ; 3 males, Radon Springs , 24 Apr 2015, P. Dostine ; 1 male, same loc. and coll., 22 Sep 2017 (all FFD) .

Remarks. Tinodes radona was originally described from Radon Springs in the NT and three sites in North Queensland ( Neboiss 1990). Wells (1995) reported T. radona larvae from three sites in Kakadu and Litchfield NPs. The species is recorded from a further five NT sites. A second species, T. aberrans Kimmins 1962 , originally described from New Guinea, has been reported from North Queensland ( ABRS 2021).
