Material examined: BRAZIL: Bahia: Ilhéus (CEPLAC– CEPEC, 14°45′17.7″S 39°13′56.1″W), 6 ♀, 05.X.2012, T.P.L. Pereira leg. ( MZFS).
Distribution. BRAZIL (new record): Bahia: Ilhéus; DOMINICA: Clarke Hall; COLOMBIA: Magdalena: PNN Tayrona, Zaino , COSTA RICA. ( Plowes et al. 2009). This record is the first out of the Central America and Caribbean distribution of this species (Dominican, Costa Rica and Magdalena in Colombia).
Remarks. The collected specimens have the distal process of the female with rounded sides, slightly different to descriptions made by Plowes et al. (2009) of the species. We consider that this slightly morphological difference is not sufficient to describe a new species. This disjunct distribution may be occurring by the lack of intermediate data collections, as seen in Pseudacteon fowleri and P. pradei (Patrock 2010) . It is possible that this parasitoid species presents the same geographical distribution of the host Solenopsis geminata proposed by Ross et al. (2009).
Field observations. The specimens were collected associated with a colony of Solenopsis geminata .
