Treatment

Not valid. Described from Thunnus alalonga ; no locality, but probably Mediterranean. An apparent sub-species of P. germonia (determined to be synonymous with P. filosa ( Hogans 1988a) . There is nothing within the original description which differentiates this “sub-species” from P. filosa . A variable form and synonym of P. filosa ( Hogans 1988a) .
