Subfamily Pseudophyllinae View in CoL
The genus Cymatomerella currently contains the four species C. excisa (Kevan, 1954) , C. muta Beier, 1954 , C. pardopunctata Hemp, 2013 and C. spilophora (Walker, 1870) . For all these species not much information is available and partly very few individuals were collected. Cymatomerella is distinguished from the very similar genus Cymatomera by the venation of the tegmina. In Cymatomera R and Sc are contiguous, while in Cymatomerella both veins are running in parallel for most of their length but are clearly separated from each other, connected by numerous short crossveins.
