Distribution. Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Libya, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldavia, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, Tadzhikistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. In Iran, this species is cited from the provinces Kerman, Mazandaran, Chahar Mahal va Bakhtiari, Fars, Esfahan, Zanjan, Guilan, and East Azarbaijan by Azadbakhsh and Nozari (2015). New province record for Hormozgan.
Biology. The specimens were collected by hand from under stones near the bank of a river.
