Distributions of body length for P. troncatus adult males, adult females, and nymphs are displayed in Figure 4 View FIGURE . Adult males ranged in size from 250 – 285 µm in length and were significantly smaller than adult females in length which were 330 – 380 µm (t 38 = 22.6, P <0.001). For nymphs, there were two distinct size clusters; nymphs with docking papillae (n = 81) ranged in size from 240 – 375 µm in length and were significantly larger than nymphs without docking papillae (n = 115) which were 175 – 255 µm in length (t 194 = 20.6, P <0.001).
