DISTRIBUTION. Tuva: WSE, UKH, KKH, ETO. – From the steppes of European Russia to the steppes of South Siberia, Central Sakha (Yakutia), Kazakhstan, Mongolia.This species was recorded from SE Altay (Sergeev et al., 1995), the southeastern part of the Republic of
Khakassia, (Ivanova, 1967) and the southern part of Krasnoyarsk Region.
ECOLOGY. Usually in the mountain steppes and on the dry meadows. Its abundance is commonly low. Very rare together with Montana montana .
