Material examined. 0/1/1, stream upstream of Neney, West Papua province, 1° 27.056 S 134° 0 1.584 E, alt. 725 asl, 17-xi-2011.

Description. Female: Colour pale yellow; ventral shield posteriorly reddish, dorsal shield with a broad reddish band. More anteriorly on the dorsal shield a large, rounded red spot. Idiosoma 1172 long and 770 wide. Dorsal and ventral shields, configuration of glandularia, suture lines of coxae, position of Cxgl–4 and shape of palp as in male (see Wiles 1992). Genital field large. Lengths of PI-PV: 57, 1278, 76, 134, 42. Lengths of I-leg-4–6: 104, 114, 74. Lengths of IV-leg-4–6: 160, 168, 120. Second, third and fourth legs with swimming setae, but due to mounting no reliable setae numbers can be ascertained.

Deutonymph: Dorsal and ventral shield present. Dorsal shield 826 long and 599 wide. Configuration of glandularia on dorsal shield as in adult. Colour yellowish, with a reddish tinge. Configuration of suture lines of coxae as in adult, but Cxgl–4 shifted less anteriorly. Provisional genital field large, fused medially, extending laterally beyond posterior corner of Cx-IV.

Remarks. Wiles (1992) described the male only, female and deutonymph are described here for the first time. Previously known from Papua New Guinea.
