Siphloplecton picteti species group
Diagnosis. Male imago: (1) eyes considerably large, medially contiguous; divided into two more or less distinguishable portions; (2) outer margin of foretibia bears two or more stout, pointed setae; (3) two pairs of intercalaries in the cubital field of forewings; (4) numerous furcated veins in pterostigmatic area of forewings; (5) styliger plate angulate, mediocaudally deeply incised; with small triangular medial projection; incision medially to each gonostylus bordered by lateral, broad, triangular projection; (6) basal segment of forceps nearly square, with medioapical hump, remaining segments elongated; (7) penis relatively short, its tip barely reaches distal margin of basal forceps segment; (8) penis lobes rounded at tips, approximated at almost entire length; apically separated by a shallow, smooth U- or V-shaped cleft.
