Description: Wiehle (1960: 201, figs 8–15), Roberts (1987: 113, fig. 55a), Bosmans (2007: 135, figs 136– 140).

Previous records: Porto: Porto ( Machado 1937); Rio Tinto ( Machado 1937); Santa Cruz do Bispo ( Machado 1937). Setúbal: Arrábida NP, Vale da Rasca ( Cardoso et al. 2008a).

New records: Braga: Esposende, Ofir, 1 male, 11.IX.1982 (CJFM). Coimbra: Paúl de Arzila NR, 2 males, 28.V.2008 (CLC). Faro: Vila Real de Santo António , Monte Gordo, 1 male, 2.IV.1981 (CJFM). Santarém: Paúl do Boquilobo NR, Torres Novas, montado, 1 male, 5.XI.2002 (CPC) .

Distribution: Cosmopolitan.

Habitat type: Occurring in all kinds of habitats.

Phenology: Throughout the year in Central Europe ( Heimer & Nentwig 1991). In Portugal found in spring and autumn.
