Material examined. Russia: Sakhalin Island, vicinity of Kholmsk , 47.028 N, 142.037 E, at light trap, 25.IX 2017, 1 ♀, leg. О.L. Titova GoogleMaps

Distribution. India (Assam), Philippines, China (Taiwan), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tanegashima, Yakushima); Russia (Southern Primorye, Southern Sakhalin, Shikotan Island).

Remarks. The caterpillars live on the Lonicera L. ( Caprifoliaceae ), there are at least five species of them on Sakhalin ( Voroshilov, 1982); in Japan they feed on L. japonica Thunb. (Inoue, 1982) . On Sakhalin there are two Alucitidae species, one of them is more common: Pterotopteryx eumorphodactyla ( Caradja, 1920) and the other is more rare, currently known only by one specimen from south-western coast of the island, Pterotopteryx spilodesma ( Meyrick, 1908) .
