Type locality. WC: Garcias Pass near Riversdale, black sandy soil near stream.
Distribution. Type locality only, in the south-eastern part of Western Cape.
Remarks. Described on ‘six specimens with indication of clitella’. According to Reynolds & Cook (1976) type material was in BMNH 1938.7.1.2345–2352, however, in present BMNH record it is not listed.
