Type locality. WC, Groot Winterhoek near Tulbagh, at ca. 1200–1500 m asl.

Distribution. Type locality only, north proximity of Cape Peninsula.

Remarks. Holotype SAMC 373, immature, in two pieces. Locality name ‘Great Winterhoek’ given by Pickford, here is corrected to Groot Winterhoek = Wilderness Area.
