Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior, 1834) View in CoL
On Moricsala Island yellow-necked field mouse was trapped both in 1959 and 1960 as the second most common Myomorpha species but was not trapped in 1989 (probably due to intra-specific variation in the number). It dwells in a quite large variety of habitats but prefers broad-leaved forests with hazel in the understorey.
