TL: [ India], Darjeeling.
TD: lectotype, female , NHMUK.
Distribution in India: Meghalaya (Cherrapunji), West Bengal (Darjeeling), Sikkim ( Hampson 1892); North East Himalaya ( Holloway 1987). Global records: Nepal, southern and central China, northern Vietnam, northern Thailand, Myanmar ( Wu et al. 2017).
Remark: Zolotuhin & Pinratana (2005) erroneously mentioned the ‘male’ as holotype. Wu et al. (2017) stated that type is a female.
