REMARKS
The type material of this species could not be located. The description and illustration do not allow assignment of this species to a genus.

REMARKS
According to Alloiteau (1941: 16) Microseris hemisphaerica and M. semiglobosa are synonymous. The inner structure of Microseris semiglobosa is unknown; therefore it cannot be determined if it is a senior synonym of Microseris hemisphaerica .
