Diagnosis. This species is distinguished by the indistinct elongate pterostigma, completely dark brown scutum, acrostichals confined anterior to third dorsocentral seta, scutellum with several marginal setulae, fore femur apically without strong anterior setae; and crescent-shaped of the male clasping cercus.
Distribution. PALAEARCTIC: Russia (Adygea Republic, Krasnodarsky Territory, Karachay-Cherkess Republic).
Remarks. Wiedemannia kustovi is uncommonly collected, known from mountain rivers, ranging in altitude from 900–2267 m a.s.l. and is active from May to August.
