Measurements: (10 specimens measured) Average total length: 10.4mm, range: 8.7–11.4mm, average elytral length: 7.4mm, average elytral width: 3.0mm, average pronotal length: 1.9mm, average pronotal width: 1.9mm, average head width: 1.8mm.
Head: Dark red-brown, cranium sparsely vested with very short setae, with very fine and sparse punctation; anterior part of clypeus narrow, posterior part dark red-brown, anterior margin distinctly concave, posterior margin nearly even, with large punctation and a few long setae laterally, smooth centrally; ventral part red-brown to black, smooth, except wrinkles behind the eyes; ventral part dark red-brown to black, wrinkled, smooth centrally; antennae red-brown, A4 longer than A3, antennomeres gradually decreasing in length from A4 towards A8, A9 to A11 forming an indistinct club, female antennae reaching base of pronotum when laid back; gular sutures parallel, gular process broad.
Thorax: Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.0:1; pronotum red-brown, sparsely vested with short yellow setae, pronotal arch with distinct punctation, interstices smaller than one diameter of punctures, punctation indistinct; prosternum red-brown, smooth; mesosternum red-brown, margins darkened, vested with yellowish setae; metasternum red-brown, vested with fine setae, punctation indistinct; anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum subtriangular, colored like surrounding elytra.
Elytra: Average length:width ratio 2.5:1; one dark brown spot on each elytron in basal half, one broad dark brown postmedian fascia which narrows to sutures, margins in basal two thirds broadly dark brown colored, subcutaneous structures visible through yellow areas, vested with short decumbent setae, punctation very small, striae 1 to 3 obsolete before brown spot, striae 4 to 7 becoming continuously longer until striae 7 nearly reaches apical margin of postmedian fascia, striae 8 are shorter than striae 7, striae 9 and 10 nearly obsolete, interstices between striae are about two diameters of punctures, interstices within striae irregular, minimal one diameter of punctures; punctation rasp-like in basal third of elytra, carination absent.
Legs: Dark red-brown, tarsal pulvilli yellowish-pale; metatibiae slightly bent, tibial carination absent.
Abdomen: Ventrites dark red-brown, vested with fine yellowish setae, punctation relatively dense.
Distribution: Myanmar.
Seasonal occurrence: Both specimens were collected in August.
