This widespread, rarely encountered eucnemid species was previously reported from Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin ( Otto 2022b). A new state record is confirmed for Georgia, based on a single specimen was taken from a UV light trap placed in a dunes habitat in Georgia.
