TYPE LOCALITY: Laos, Muong Yo .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from type locality.

COMMENT: Haltenorth, 1963:40, included this form in muntjak . PG believes this species should be included in feai . Corbet, 1978:199, implied that it was distinct, and it was so listed by Corbet and Hill, 1980:119.
