TYPE LOCALITY: Mongolia, Chagrin-Gol (=Steppe) .

DISTRIBUTION: S. Mongolia; N.W. China.

COMMENT: Considered a subspecies of picticaudata by Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1951:388. China, S. Ordos Desert was erroneously given as type locality by Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1951, and followed by Gromov and Baranova, 1981.
