Torodora leucochlora ( Meyrick, 1910) View in CoL , comb. nov.

( Figs. 10, 10 View FIGURES 10 – 13 a, 15, 15a, 15b)

Lecithocera leucochlora Meyrick, 1910 View in CoL . Trans. Ent. Soc. Lond. 58: 448. Habrogenes leucochlora View in CoL ; Clarke, 1965. Microl. Palaearc. 5: 72.

Diagnosis. Female ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 6 – 9 ). Wingspan, 16–18 mm. The species is clearly distinguished by the whitish wings, body, and appendages. However, the species is hardly distinguishable from the following new species by superficial morphology.

Male genitalia. See Clarke (1965, pl. 36, 2a, 2b).

Description of female genitalia ( Figs. 15, 15 View FIGURES 14 – 16 a, 15b). Caudal margin of abdominal sternite VIII deeply emarginate in U-shape medially, its depth about half length of segment. Antrum broad, bowl-shaped, as wide as width of segment VIII, short, weakly sclerotized; caudal margin nearly flat. Ductus bursae long, more than three times of corpus bursae, twice coiled, with sparse, fine conic spinules internally. Corpus bursae elongate; signum large, elongate, as long as corpus bursae, densely scobinate.

Material examined. 1Ƥ, “Matang Rd. (near Kuching), 12 xi 1909 ”, deposited in the RMNH; 1Ƥ, 4 miles Rock Rd new design, 4 Dec. 1909, gen. slide no. CIS- 6047/Park.

Distribution. Kuching, Malaysian Borneo.

Remarks. Meyrick (1910) described this species, placing it in Lecithocera , based on two specimens (a male and a female), and noted ”Kuching (Hewitt), Borneo, in October and November“. Clarke (1965) designated the male specimen (Kuching, Borneo, JH. 30.10.00) as “ lectotype ” and illustrated the male genitalia (slide no. 8871). In the collection of the RMNH, the author found a female specimen, labelled as the lectotype, which is probably a syntype, as well as one additional female specimen, labelled “Matang Rd, Nov. 12 1909 ” ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 – 13 a).
