Euschistus (Lycipta) illotus .

Like the previous species, this pentatomid was intercepted on privet on a very few occasions, and only as adults and probably does not reproduce on privet. The species was described from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; is known in South America from Bolivia to Paraguay and Argentina. In Brazil, it was collected also in the states of Mato Grosso, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina ( ROLSTON, 1982). This is the first record for Paraná.
