Ostindia (coll. Brunner & Mus. Genf); Himalaya (Mus. Genf). One ♁ without hind legs and more than one ♀ .
One ♁ and three ♀ syntypes. A ♁ with labels: “Himalaja, Mr Hy de Sauss. ” [printed on white paper]; “ Conocephalus brevipennis Redtb. ” [handwritten on yellow paper]; “Musée de Genève, No 248” [number handwritten on printed white card]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings roughly spread; both hind legs are missing. A ♀ with labels: “Himalaja, Mr Hy de Sauss. ” [printed on white paper]; “ Conocephalus brevipennis Redtb. ” [handwritten on yellow paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings spread; most of both antennae are missing. A ♀ with labels: “Indes or., 72.” [handwritten on white paper]; “ Conocephalus brevipennis Redtb. ” [handwritten on yellow paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; most of the left antenna is missing. A ♀ with labels: “Indes or., 72.” [handwritten on white paper]; “ Conocephalus brevipennis Redtb. ” [handwritten on yellow paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; the hind wings are somewhat wrinkled and most of both antennae is lost. There is also an immature ♀ labelled “Indes or.” which may also be a syntype. Images on OSF.
