Ecology. Epigeic species (Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003) in beech forests, mixed pine forests, subalpine grassland (Szederjesi 2012), tree bark (Omodeo et al. 2003).
Distribution in Montenegro. Northern Montenegro: Ališnica, Surdup (Mršić 1983; 1990; 1991), Gornja Počivala, Tepca, Kanjon Sušice (Mršić 1990), Žabljak (Karaman & Stojanović 1995); eastern Montenegro, Gushinje, Čakor (Szederjesi 2013).
Zoogeographical distribution type. A common peregrine species in the Balkans (Mršić 1991; Stojanović & Karaman 2003; Szederjesi 2013).
