Ecology. Endogeic species (Zicsi et al. 2011) found in hill meadows, gardens, river banks (Milutinović et al. 2010) and meadows (Stojanović 1996).

Distribution in Montenegro. Eastern Montenegro: Bijelo Polje, Ivangrad, Biševo; southern Montenegro: Kotor, Ulcinj, Titograd, Ribnica (Šapkarev 1975; Mršić 1991).

Zoogeographical distribution type. A common peregrine species distributed all over the Balkans (Stojanović et al. 2008), native to the Palearctic (Csuzdi & Zicsi 2003).
