Ecology. Epigeic species found under bark and stone (Zicsi et al. 2011), in forests and meadows (Milutinović et al. 2010).
Distribution in Montenegro. Northern Montenegro: Poljinak, Pitome, Ališnica, near around Crno jezero (Mršić 1983; 1990), Žabljak (Karaman & Stojanović 1995); eastern Montenegro, Planina Vuča (Mršić 1991), Bijelo Polje (Karaman & Stojanović 1995), Bjelasica (Stojanović & Karaman 2003).
Zoogeographical distribution type. A widespread Palearctic species that has been introduced world-wide (Csuzdi et al. 2011).
