Description of Tepidibacter mesophilus GHS View in CoL 20

Cells are Gram-stain-positive, non-flagellated, and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire, and white-colored after anaerobic incubation for 7 days on marine R2 A at 20℃. Negative for nitrates reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatin hydrolysis, β -galactosidase, and cytochrome oxidase in API 20NE. D- Glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid are not utilized as a sole carbon source. Strain GHS20 About GHS (= HNIBRBA866) was isolated from tidal flat collected off Goha-do (34°45 ʹ 34.91 ʺ N, 126°21 ʹ 53.67 ʺ E), Mokpo , Jeollanam-do, Korea. The GenBank accession number of the 16S rRNA gene sequence of strain GHS20 About GHS is OL742689 GoogleMaps .
