Karualona fatimae Sinev et Semenyuk, 2023

The species was previously reported from South Tajikistan as Alonella karua King, 1853 ( Mukhamediev 1986), but this genus-species combination is erroneous. A single female was found in Lake Jirikul, Tigrovaya Balka National Reserve (loc. 2). K. fatimae is a tropical species observed in China, Laos, Thailand and India ( Sinev & Semenyuk 2023). However, the distribution of the species is not fully revealed. The studied individual conforms to the diagnosis of Karualona fatimae . For a description, see Sinev & Semenyuk (2023).
