[ Holotype: AMNH; ♀ Live Oak Canyon, near Redlands, San Bernardino Co., California, US; March 30, 1936 ]

Ribble (1974) reported this species in BC in the Coastal Sage Matorral south of Ensenada City. In this project the BBPT collected three additional females in March and April 2021 in the same habitat from a nearby locality (Ejido A. Melendrez). See fig. 12.
