Andrena isocomae is a new species record in Mexico and BCP. This species flies later in the summer months and specializes on pollen from plants in the family Asteraceae including Gutierrezia Lag. , Isocoma Nutt. , and Heterotheca Cass. (LaBerge 1967) . One female was collected in El Condor, a locality near the border with California in 1981 ( SDNHM) and it has been recorded in recent surveys in San Diego County near the border ( Hung et al. 2015). The BBPT collected 11 females in the Baja California Mountains (2021), Chaparral (2019), and the Central Desert (2020). All specimens were collected between August and November ( MABC). See fig. 7.
