[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ San Diego , California, US; May 30, 1980]

This species is a pollen specialist on plants in the genus Camissonia Link ( LaBerge & Thorp 2005) . It occurs in California, USA and BC, Mexico ( LaBerge & Thorp 2005). We reviewed one specimen reported by LaBerge & Thorp (2005) collected in March 1961 in La Zapopita, Valle de La Trinidad in the Chaparral region (LACM). The BBPT collected 2 females in Coastal Sage Matorral in May 2022 (MABC). See fig. 16.
