This species is a pollen specialist on Tidestromia Standl. ( Fowler 2020) . Ayala et al. (1996), reported this species in BC state. We reviewed three females from BCS captured in September 1941, two were collected in the Gulf Coast 10 mi. S. of Coyote Cove, and one collected in the Vizcaíno Desert in San Ignacio (CASC). See fig. 62.
