Protandrena (Pseudopanurgus) compacta (Timberlake, 1973)

Endemic

[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Big Canyon , Sierra Laguna, Baja California Sur, Mexico; October 13, 1941]

This species has been documented in both BC and BCS ( Ayala et al. 1996). The holotype male and three male paratypes were collected in the Cape Mountains , Tropical Dry Forest , and Gulf Coast in October 1941 (Timberlake 1973). We reviewed one male paratype collected in the Gulf Coast in San Pedro October 1941 ( CASC). Additionally , the CARCIB team collected one male in the Tropical Dry Forest in August 2016. See fig. 67.
