We recognize Heterosarus Robertson , Pseudopanurgus Cockerell , and Pterosarus Timberlake as subgenera of Protandrena as in Bossert et al. (2022). The species of Protandrena present in the BCB require taxonomic revision, and the phylogeny of its subgenera needs to be re-evaluated ( Bossert et al. 2022).
