[ Holotype: USNM; ♂ Probably near Meloland, Imperial Co., California, USA; April 1911]

This is a rare species that occurs in the Lower Colorado and Mojave deserts. In the BCP, it has only been reported in the Lower Colorado Desert south of Palacio ( Hurd & Linsley 1975). We reviewed seven specimens (4 ♂, 3 ♀) collected 12 mi. South of Palacio in April 1939 ( CASC). See fig. 50.
