Perdita exclamans View in CoL has a broad distribution across North American deserts and specializes on pollen from plants in the family Fabaceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . In BC, it has been exclusively recorded in the Lower Colorado Desert. Its sole documented record within the BCP dates back to April 1939, with preserved specimens pinned at SEMC ( GBIF 2023).
