[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Near Westmoreland , Imperial Co., California, US; May 31, 1930]

This species inhabits the southwestern USA and BC, Mexico. One specimen of P. coldeniae was collected in 1968 in the Lower Colorado Desert in BC ( UCRC). See fig. 39.
