Calliopsis mellipes View in CoL specializes on pollen from plants in the family Fabaceae View in CoL including Lotus View in CoL L. and Acmispon Raf. ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This represents a new species record for Mexico. In this study, we examined a female specimen collected from El Condor in the Baja California Mountains in April 1988 (SDMNH). See fig. 29.
