Anthophorula (Anthophorisca) sidae (Cockerell, 1897) View in CoL

[ ANSP; Mesilla , New Mexico, USA; July 21, 1896]

Anthophorula sidae is distributed in northwestern Mexico and southwestern USA. Prior to our recent fieldwork, this species had only been reported in BC by Timberlake (1980b) with specimens collected in the Lower Colorado Desert in July 1953. The BBPT collected specimens (35 ♂, 19 ♀) in the same ecoregion in May 2021 ( ECOAB). See fig. 121 .
