Eucera actuosa is a newly documented species for the BCP. The oldest known record is based on a previously undetermined specimen at SDNHM that was collected in the Baja California Mountains in 1988. Additionally , the BBPT collected this species in various localities of the Succulent Coastal Matorral and Central Desert in March 2021 (2 ♀) and the Chaparral in May 2022 (1 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC. See fig. 102 .
