[ ♀ Pueblo Viejo , Veracruz, Mexico; December 8, 1909]

This species is primarily restricted to Neotropical regions and it constitutes a new record on the BCP. This species specializes on pollen from plants in the genus Sida L. ( Malvaceae ) (Sipes & Tepedino 2005). It was first recorded in the Gulf Coast ecoregion of BCS in 2017 by the CARCIB team. See fig. 98.
